Part 1: It's never happened before in the lion's den
We only discovered it when we went in.
In 2024 we participated in the Lion's Den.
We actually thought we knew what awaited us.
We had seen the programs.
Prepared ourselves for the questions.
And went over our pitch over and over again.
But that changed when we went inside.
Down the stairs you've seen so many times before on TV.
That's when it dawned on us.
There were other lions sitting there.
We just managed to look at each other.
Had we gone wrong?
For a brief moment we thought,
if we had ended up in the Swedish version.
It turned out that there were new lions.
And we were the only ones who hadn't been notified about it.
It was the first time that had happened - ever, in the Lion's Den.
It may sound like a small thing.
But at that moment, the whole situation changes.
Everything you have prepared for,
suddenly becomes less secure.
There is no time to adjust.
You go in anyway.
We stood there with our product.
And with a feeling of,
that this didn't quite turn out as we had imagined.
What happened afterwards,
was also not quite as expected.
